Overview of The Role
As a Senior Product Designer- Visual, we are seeking an exceptional UI design skills and expertise in Figma. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting the visual and functional elements of our digital products, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design of new products and enhancements, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience.
- Create visual representations, including wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, user flows, process diagrams, and site maps, to effectively communicate user interface designs.
- Showcase great UX and UI solutions, having worked on initiatives end to end from Product Discovery to continuous improvements.
- Deliver feedback on both existing and newly developed user experiences to the engineering team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the Practice Head, engineering, and product management, to develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency, efficiency, and innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experiences.
- Resolve moderate to highly complex issues relating to design and user experience, collaborating with peers, colleagues, and managers as necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a design-related field or equivalent qualification.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI design skills and experience in working with design systems and components.
- High proficiency in Figma, including component creation and management, prototyping, and collaboration features.
- Experience with responsive design and an understanding of the nuances of designing for various devices and platforms.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices.
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong sensitivity to user-system interaction, coupled with exceptional communication abilities to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to approach challenges with innovative and practical solutions.
- Design Agency experience would be an added advantage
