Overview of The Role
As a Lead Engineer - DevOps, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge application infrastructures tailored to an array of client landscapes. With infrastructure as the foundation of our organization, you will craft comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that seamlessly enable development and quality assurance teams to thrive in delivering excellence.
This role calls for a visionary technologist with a passion for innovation, adept at orchestrating the automation of infrastructure setups while ensuring ongoing refinement, scalability, and peak performance. You will champion the adoption of global best practices and industry benchmarks, instilling a culture of excellence and precision in process design.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams in designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure solutions while mentoring team members, ensuring automation, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Architect and implement infrastructure from scratch, aligning technical designs with business objectives to deliver secure, high-performance, and scalable systems.
  • Automate software development, testing, deployment, and provisioning using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker for efficient and reliable application delivery.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, leveraging tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Kubernetes to ensure scalable, secure, and version-controlled infrastructure management throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Drive end-to-end automation initiatives by creating, optimizing, and orchestrating CI/CD pipelines, integrating robust testing frameworks, provisioning scripts, and deployment processes to streamline the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Independently design and configure secure and high-performing network architectures, including VPCs, Load Balancers, DNS, Firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring seamless connectivity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain the reliability and overall health of applications and infrastructure.
  • Design and deploy scalable AWS infrastructure solutions, utilizing services like EC2, EKS, ECS, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, Docker, and VPC to support diverse applications.
  • Architect reusable Terraform modules and maintain IaC solutions to ensure repeatability, consistency, and performance across multiple environments.
  • Promote the adoption of modern DevOps practices, collaborating with teams to bridge development and operations through tools, processes, and shared accountability for seamless project execution.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of proven expertise in DevOps and Cloud Engineering. 
  • Possess extensive hands-on experience with AWS, utilizing core services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, Elastic Beanstalk, Auto Scaling, S3, Elasticsearch, ElasticCache, Load Balancers, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail, along with advanced networking knowledge and VPC configuration skills. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker, with a track record of managing containerized applications in production environments and optimizing their performance and reliability. 
  • Expertise in networking concepts, including DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, and VPNs, with the ability to design and implement secure, high-performance network architectures for cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Proficient in enforcing security practices such as access control, data encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance adherence (e.g., PCI, HIPAA), ensuring secure and resilient infrastructure
  • Advanced scripting abilities in languages like Bash, Python, and PowerShell, with extensive experience in version control systems like Bitbucket and collaborative tools like Jira and Confluence. 
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure technical and business alignment.
